Making sure employees return home safely to their families every day is a key concern that we share with STOMO, our operation and maintenance services provider in the plant. A 'zero accident policy' has been implemented at the plant with good results in the first year as indeed no lost time accidents happened.

Al Suwadi Power uses state-of-the-art technology, making sure that Oman's natural (gas) resources are efficiently used. Being an extremely fuel efficient plant also means that there is considerably reduced environmental impact. With zero environmental incidents during the first year of operation, Al Suwadi Power takes pride in contributing to the Government of Oman's efforts to make the economic growth of the Sultanate sustainable.
